Stacey Preis is an education policy consultant and owner of Preis Consulting LLC, providing strategic support to clients across philanthropy, workforce development and education.

Stacey is the former Deputy Commissioner of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Prior to serving as Deputy Commissioner, Preis spent six years with the Missouri General Assembly as Executive Director of the Joint Committee on Education.

She holds three degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, including a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Stacey enjoys spending time on the trail with her husband and their two dogs, who joined the family as empty-nester/pandemic-lockdown puppies when her son graduated from high school in 2020.
