- Missouri Transportation Summit - August 1, 2019
The Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council (MODDC) will host the Missouri Transportation Summit at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia, MO from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on August 1, 2019. The MODDC is “seeking input from all Missouri Citizens around public and human service transportation. We expect a wide diversity of ideas and issues. The goal is to transform those ideas around barriers, challenges, and opportunities into a workplan to guide and record progress moving forward, for all Missourians.” Lunch is provided. The Down Syndrome Guild of Central Missouri will host their first all day, multi-track education conference in Columbia, MO on August 17. Parents, educators, therapists, administrators and service providers can attend presentations on enhancing speech and communication, improving daily living skills, reducing problem behaviors, fostering independence and preparing to transition to adulthood.
