Summer Transition Network Classes

photo of hands holding dirt, green thumb gardeningThere are two upcoming Transition Network classes available to persons served by Boone County Family Resources. Both classes are open to individuals ages 14 and older.

In Green Thumb Gardening, you will learn about gardening and how to grow vegetables and flowers. This class meets on Friday mornings from 8-9:30 a.m. from June 9 through August 11. Once school begins again, the class continues on Thursday afternoons from 4:45-6:15 p.m.

Back by popular demand, Navigators Club meets Tuesday afternoons from 1-3:30 p.m. from June 13 through July 25. In Navigators Club you will explore your community and connect with people. Learn about fun things to do in Columbia, make choices, plan outings and build independence.
